Editorial Policy and How We Test

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Every page on ZypCRM pairs a tool with a guide. This page explains who writes them, how we test the tools they describe, and what we do when we get something wrong.

Who writes the guides

Guides are maintained by the Yoorie team, the people who build the tools. No guide is sponsored. Each one describes the tool’s real settings – the exact option names you see on the page – because we write them against the working tool, not a specification.

How we test the tools

Before a tool or a change goes live, it passes three kinds of tests:

  1. Automated end-to-end tests. A test suite opens every tool in a real headless Chromium browser, loads real sample files (multi-page PDFs, iPhone HEIC photos, transparent PNGs, spreadsheets, signatures, portraits) and checks the downloaded result: the right file type, page count, pixel size, transparency, encryption, or removed metadata. Edge cases are tested too – wrong file types, invalid input, extreme values and fast repeated changes.
  2. Exploratory sweeps. A second script clicks every button, tries every option and checkbox, uploads very large files (a 7000 × 5000 px image, a 120-page PDF) and watches the browser console for errors, at desktop width and on a 390 px phone screen, in light and dark mode.
  3. Accessibility checks. Pages are audited with axe for WCAG 2.1 AA, including colour contrast in both themes.

We also use the tools ourselves for the jobs they are meant for – cutting vinyl, engraving wood, submitting forms with size limits – and fold what we learn into the guides.

Accuracy and corrections

If a guide is wrong or a tool misbehaves, email [email protected]. We fix confirmed errors promptly and update the “last reviewed” date on the page. When a limit cannot be fixed (for example, scanned PDFs have no text layer to extract), we say so plainly on the tool page.

Official rules

Where a task depends on someone else’s rules – passport photo sizes, file-size limits on upload portals, Cricut Design Space import behaviour – we link to or describe the official source and remind you to check it, because rules change.

Advertising independence

Ads are served by Google and are clearly labelled. Advertisers have no influence on what we write, which tools we recommend, or how we rank options. We do not use affiliate links.

Use of AI

Some tools use small AI models that run on your device (background removal, face detection). Guides may be drafted with the help of AI writing tools; every statement about a tool’s options and behaviour is checked against the working tool and its automated tests before publishing, and the Yoorie team is responsible for everything published here.

Cookie settings

Choose which optional technologies may be used on this browser. Your choice is saved on this device only (in local storage) and is sent to Google using Consent Mode. Files you process are never uploaded, whatever you choose.

Remembers your theme and this consent choice, and lets the site work offline. Always on; nothing is shared.

Lets Google store and read cookies to serve, cap and measure ads, and receive ad-related data about your visit (ad_storage, ad_user_data). If off, Google may still show limited, non-personalised ads without cookies.

Lets ads be tailored to your interests (ad_personalization). Requires Advertising.

Allows privacy-friendly usage statistics (analytics_storage). We do not run analytics today; this stays off unless you allow it.
